How to ruin your life 101

Compare yourself to others. Measure yourself with everyone’s yardstick, by all means please do. Life is a battle, survival of the fittest and I assure you that you’ve not done anything until you’ve outdone everyone.
Friends? What are those? Please ensure that you’re one step ahead at all times. Life is a race; first to finish so run and don’t you dare look back. Get to that finish line alone and ahead of everyone else, then and only then can you declare yourself a victory. True success is determined by how much ahead of the next person you are.

Let your past govern your life. Making peace with your past? Who lied to you? Please take your mistakes and bind them around your neck, I’d suggest that you keep a journal, it’ll be more efficient. Constantly remind yourself of your wrong doings and make no move to learn from them. Just let them weigh you down and remind you of the person you once were. Once a horrible person, always a horrible person, right?

Save all the fun for the future. I urge you not to be happy with your current situation, least you get too comfortable. Journey > destination; what a joke. please the end justifies the means, it always has and it always will. After all, if you fail an examination no one bothers to ask whether you read or not, it’s immediately assumed that you probably didn’t even know your course code until that very morning so don’t let anyone deceive you. Small wins? Don’t celebrate those, they’re beneath your persona. Set large goals and don’t stop until you get there. Whenever you achieve a goal please don’t pause, don’t even give yourself a pat on the back. Just chase after the next big thing.

Accountability. What’s that foreign language? We both know that your village people are the genesis of all your problems. They’re the reason why you’re still where you are today, don’t worry it’s not because you’re allergic to working hard neither is it because you keep blaming everyone but yourself each and every time you mess up. Your villagers are simply responsible for all your issues, know this and know peace.

Tolerate your life. Money is all that matters and that’s on period. Passion? You must really love hunger dear. Please put money first if you love yourself, thanks. Take it from me, happiness is just some faux tale sad people tell you in order to keep you poor. So aim for the money and make sure every other thing is secondary. Make it a point of duty to reside where ever the money is, even if it’s draining you, even if you’re not content. Remember that money solves your problems (anyone that tells you otherwise simply doesn’t have enough money to solve their problems) and because problems never finish, you definitely need that bag.
